Questions and answers
What containers do you collect?
Beer cans and beer bottles, wine bottles, liquor and spirits bottles, coolers, and other eligible deposit-bearing beverage containers. Eligibility is set by the current Ontario deposit-return rules and can change, so if you are unsure about a particular container, ask us before your pickup.
Do you pick up from homes?
Yes. Book a time, leave your eligible containers in bags or boxes where we agree, and we collect them from your door. It is one pickup service for any location in our service area.
How do I prepare containers?
Empty the containers and place them in sturdy bags, boxes, or crates. Please keep them reasonably clean and dry so they are safe for our team to handle.
Do containers need to be sorted?
Sorting is not required, but it helps. If it is easy for you to keep bottles and cans in separate bags, that speeds up the return process.
How does pickup work?
There are four steps: book your pickup online, bag your eligible containers, we collect them from your home or business, and then your containers are returned so you can receive the applicable deposit value or take part in an available donation option.
Do I have to be home?
You are not required to be at home. Simply put your things in a safe area by 8 in the morning and fill out the special instructions section with the driver's instructions, if any.
Is there a Minimum Quantity to order a Pickup?
Yes, the minimum quantity of cans/bottles to request a pickup is 100.
Is there any service charge/pickup fees?
We provide you with a full 10/20 cent per container. If the volume is 250 or more, there is no service charge, but if the containers are less than 250 we will still serve you and charge a convenience/service fee of 15 percent of container value (1.5 cents per 10 cent container), which can be paid in cash or deducted from your refund. The minimum quantity for pickup is still 100.
How do refunds work?
After your containers are returned, you receive the applicable deposit value for the eligible containers we collected. We confirm the details with you when we arrange your pickup.
How do I receive my refund?
You can receive your refund via an e-transfer within 24-48 hrs. of the pickup. Please note that there is a 1.50 e-transfer fee. If you want to carry forward, you can carry forward your balance with us.
Can I donate my refund?
Yes. Instead of taking the refund yourself, you can choose an available donation option so your returns support a cause. Just let us know when you book.
Do you support fundraising?
Yes. Schools, sports teams, apartment communities, and community organizations can run a bottle drive with us, and the returns can go towards their fundraising goal.
Do You Organize Bottle Drives or fundraising?
Yes, We are a business that gives back to the community, we organize the bottle drive at no cost to you, you just need to fill the community and fundraising form in the services section and we will handle the rest. We will donate 100% of bottle deposits to charity on the same day of pickup via cash/cheque/e-transfer. No Service/hidden charges. We hope to make running bottle drives and collecting donations easier than ever!
What happens after pickup?
We take your eligible containers through the return process. From there the deposit value goes to you, or to the donation option you selected.
